Information on Genetics Clinics

Thank you for your interest in the Deaf Genetics Project. Unfortunately, our project has ended and we no longer have any available appointments.

Another way to learn more about why you are deaf is to contact a genetics clinic in your area and schedule a genetics evaluation. During a genetics evaluation, a doctor who specializes in genetics (a medical geneticist) reviews a person’s family and medical history in order to try to determine the reason why a person is deaf and if there are any tests that can be done or information that can be provided.

Contact information on locating a genetics clinic in your area can be found below. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

Thanks again for your interest in the Deaf Genetics Project.
